It has a glass front and sides, showcasing the gold skeleton dial clock. The quartz clock has etched black Roman numerals and black hands. The clock is suspended by intricately design posts with a swinging pendulum centered between them. Outside, the wood case has polished gold accents gold bun-style feet. This high-end tabletop clock by Bulova can be customized with an attached gold plate, laser engraved with black lettering. The plate gets attached along the wood area right below the glass front.

How do I install the batteries?

You can access them on the back of the clock. Remove the clear sliding enclosure and the battery compartment is easily accessible in back.

How large is the plate we can add to the top of this clock?

The plate is normally attached to the wood area beneath the glass in front of this clock. The plate is about 2 3/4" wide by 3/4" high. If you'd prefer a plate on top, we can do that too and we could make that plate larger if you'd like. If you would like that, let us know in the comments section of our checkout page that you would like the plate attached on top.
