i want to get the exact same engraving on this zippo that my grandfather had on his. He passed away a few years back and he had a 1941 zippo lighter with his initials on the lid and a quote on each side. He was buried with his and i want to get the same exact one he had but the issue i have is that all the places I've tried would only allow certain area's of the lighter to be engraved and some would only allow up to a certain amount of lines. I've noticed that you can have five lines engraved on the body but not the lid. is there any way i can have the lid engraved with my initials?
1 Answer
Sure. just let us know in the comments section of our checkout page exactly what you would like engraved on the lid. Also, please specify if you need the engraving on the front lid or the back lid.

How does the 1941 replica lighter compare with the 1935 replica lighter in use? What about the windscreen and the opening and closing "sound"? How do they compare when holding in the hand?
1 Answer
As far as functionality, there is no difference. The sound, opening and operation are identical. The main difference is that the 1935 Zippo has squared off corners, which is the original 1935 design.

Hi I was wondering if I could get this same passage engraved on the lighter. http://imgur.com/6tj7n I wouldn't mind if part of it is on the lid and the rest is on the body. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.
1 Answer
We can definitely get that engraved on the lighter. Just add the Zippo to the shopping cart and then let us know what you'd like engraved on it in the comments section of the checkout page. Also leave a note that we OK'd this for you.

Can both front and back be engraved?
1 Answer
Yes, both the front and back of this Zippo can be engraved. Just add the lighter to your shopping cart without any engraving instructions. Then, in the comments section of the checkout page, add your engraving instructions. Be specific about what you would like engraved on the front and what you would like engraved on the back.

Ended up getting three of these for a set of rig pig brothers and the quality was awesome. Each was engraved very nicely with joke quotes that I imagine the engraver hates me for now, but they ended up looking great. the '41 Zippo has a very nice clang sound and minimalist look. Would buy from again, no doubt.
Pros
- Characteristic Zippo clang sound.
- Awesome engraving work.
- Very reasonable prices.
Cons
- Size may be too small for some users based on preference.
- Would be great to have a fixed duty payment accounted into international price totals.

Exceptional service and product. I manage a small inside sales team and gave these as gifts to each person. They LOVED them. I wrote a little back story on the significance of the Zippo in the war as well as later wars. They are very excited over the lighters. Executive Gift shop was great as well. I had a typo and they helped me fix it prior to Engraving. Nice work guys. To anyone else out there - MAKE SURE YOU PROOF READ your engravings! Thanks again!
Pros
- Great service, speed, communication
Cons
- The website for ordering the engraving - when you proof read it's very confusing to see what line and what font are going together. This needs to be fixed.
